Granville-Grossman Residential Commons

The Renee Granville-Grossman Residential Commons is an 811-bed dormitory building with a separate 541 seat, dining complex just steps across the plaza. Our group will be housed in one of the 8 residential "College Houses" (think Hogwarts!), each with their own specified dining area, lounges and common facilities.  Each House has a designated “House Table” in the dining commons so that AGG members will always have a place to eat with others from our group. A UChicago Photo ID card will be issued to each person staying in the dormitory facilities. This is required for secure entry to the residence hall.  Once you have completed your conference registration, you must go to the link below and complete the necessary form. This MUST be submitted to UChicago along with your photo by at least two weeks prior to the conference.

You will need to input the Conference Number “10062”
Housing includes a mix of single and double rooms that will share a single-sex bathroom and lounge areas on each floor.  Rooms on each floor will be designated for a single gender; women on one floor, men on the other. Couples attending the conference who wish to stay together in the same room may do so. However this will require one partner to go to the next floor for the bathroom/shower facilities. All bedlinens, a pillow, comforter and towels will be provided.
Rooms are available at a rate of $70 per night (single) or $60 per person per night (double).  A dining facility is conveniently located just steps away from the dorm and will be open for breakfast beginning at 7:00 am, as well as for lunch or dinner, if desired.  The Logan Center Cafe, located on the first floor of our meeting site at the Logan Center, also serves coffee, sandwiches, and other light fare..  Both dining locations accept cash or credit card for purchases.
